Mια απόπειρα να θυμηθούμε και να καταλάβουμε όσα συνέβησαν μετά το Σάββατο της 6ης Δεκεμβρίου του 2008, στο διαδίκτυο, στα Mέσα Κοινωνικής Δικτύωσης, στα blogs, στα ΜΜΕ, στο radiobubble, σε εμάς τελικά...

On March 2009, radiobubble invited the Greek blog community to participate on a tribute to Manos Hadjidakis, one of the most important Greek composers and a citizen that never hesitated to express his opinion”. And the response was touching. More that 100 blogs participated in our call.
On Monday, March 16^th 2009, we started spreading through blogs and social networks, just like a new dangerous web virus, shows, posts, sounds, images, music, podcasts, words, videos, poems, vcasts, plays... Everything that was “Hadjidakis” to us... Our slogan was: never get used to it.

Αρχείο radiobubble: Το audio book / ραδιοφωνικό ντοκιμαντέρ "To Tόξο Του Οδυσσέα".

We retrieve from our archive "Ulysses' Bow", the first audio book / radio-documentary that was created for radiobubble. The series of programs was broadcast from March 2008 to April 2010 and became a tracer of how radio can become art.

Our hero, Demosthenis Kanenas (Demosthenis Nobody), born in Faliro, first sailed at a tanker when he was sixteen, chasing a ghost, Daphne, a sixteen years old teenager from Rotterdam. ¨It can't be different here, all ships sometime visit Rotterdam” he was thinking. It took three years for the ship to go to Rotterdam. He looked for her but didn't find her. She was with her parents in Greece. Later on they arrived to Durban. Demosthenes sneaked out from the ship, with no legal documents. He stayed in North Africa for ten years. Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg. He then left to Switzerland for one year, together with a Swiss girl – mulatto from Reunion. He was bored so he went to the States. Medford, Oregon, thirty years. He got married, had a son, got divorced, raised his son alone, sold all the business he had created in between and returned to Athens.

The story of a Greek who traveled around the world. Through his words, words of an “uneducated” sailor while deeply educated citizen of the world, arises the troubled Greece of the post civil war era, Cuba that was just freed, the enslaved North Africa of the 20th century, the US of the homonymous “dream” and the “developing” Switzerland. Simultaneously, the anguish for a world without borders, a world, simply, beloved...

Ανασύρουμε από το αρχείο μας το πρώτο audio book / ραδιοφωνικό ντοκιμαντέρ που δημιουργήθηκε για το radiobubble. Η σειρά εκπομπών, μεταδίδονταν από τον Μάρτιο του 2008 μέχρι τον Απρίλιο του 2010, και αποτέλεσε ένα τροχιοδεικτικό του πως το ραδιόφωνο μπορεί να γίνει τέχνη.

On April and December of 2009, radiobubble and Periklis Korovesis, member of the radiobubble community from its very first day, published under the Creative Commons license his books “Epihirisi Ioudith (Operation Judith)” and “Tango Bar”, both out of print and out of stock at the moment.
